(Subtle "Did you build that?" joke in the twelfth second)

“It’s as if President Obama climbed into a tank, put on his helmet, talked about how his foray into Cambodia was seared in his memory, looked at his watch, misspelled ‘potato’ and pardoned Richard Nixon all in the same day. It’s fun to imagine the hand-wringing that must be going on within the White House as staffers try to figure out how to undo the damage their boss has done with his anti-entrepenurial riff. Defining moments in politics are strange beasts. Sometimes they’re only recognized in hindsight, while sometimes they throw the train off the tracks before a sentence has been completed. Sometimes their effect can be contained and minimized, while sometimes their effect on the political narrative mestastasizes. This one is very bad for the White House.”

Wow. When common sense and diplomacy fail in the largest arena of international politics, pull out a giant poster of Clipart and a Sharpie. It was as though he was addressing a third grade class in an elementary school rather than a gathering of the entire world's finest leaders. And it was especially insulting to our president, rightfully so, to actually pull out an illustration of a cartoon bomb (fuse and all) to demonstrate the severity of his moment at the podium. I think he had every right to do it, though. He had to stoop to that level to get his message across. Nothing else has worked.

Our president is too busy finagling his way into a second term to properly run this country. He is pandering to what has nearly become a majority of Americans who require such simple tools as Clipart and Sharpies to be convinced of anything.

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president."

You are capable of critical thinking.

You distrust mainstream media.

You like nature.

You think it’s a good idea to spend the Friday after Thanksgiving with your family rather than camping outside Best Buy to get a cheap plasma television made in China.

You think it’s a little strange that WTC building 7 came down at free fall speed on 9/11 yet it was never hit by a plane.

You think that drones in America might not be for Al Qaeda.

You would like to be able to get on a plane without having to engage in a mandatory radiation bath and digital strip search.

You have read a book in the past year.

You think you have the right to protest.

You think the War on Terror is a scam.

You think the War on Drugs is a scam.

You think the anger directed at America from the Middle East could possibly be related to our foreign policy rather than hating how amazingly free we are.

You think the Republicans and Democrats are exactly the same on the important issues affecting our country.

You think believing in The Constitution does not constitute a terrorist act.

You have heard of the Bill of Rights and can even name what some of them are.

You question whether the government loves you.

You think the right to bear arms is not for hunting, rather so citizens can fight back should the government become a bunch of tyrannical thugs.

You don’t own a television, and if you do, all you watch is RT, especially the Keiser Report and Capital Account.

You don’t think the NDAA is the name of Kesha’s latest single.

You think rich, powerful and connected people should be subject to the rule of law and go to jail if they commit crimes. Even if they are bankers and work at JP Morgan or Goldman Sachs.

You think corporations aren’t people.

You think Warren Buffet is a phony and a crony capitalist.

You don’t care that Warren Buffet likes cherry coke, hamburgers and ice cream.  He’s still a bad guy.

You know that gold was made illegal by FDR in 1933 and confiscated from the American people.  You know that gold bullion remained illegal for Americans to own until 1975.

You think politicians that push for war should be sent to fight on the front lines.  If they are unable, their children should go.

You want your food to be labeled GMO so that you can make your own decisions on what you are consuming.

You grow your own food.

You buy raw milk.

You think food and energy should be included in inflation calculations.

You are aware that the Department of Homeland Security has purchased 1.2 billion rounds of ammo in the past year.

You question whether said ammo purchases are in anticipation of a Normandy beach style landing by Al Qaeda.

You think allowing a small group of unelected people (The Federal Reserve) to print unlimited amounts of money and distribute it as they please might not be a good idea.

If you answered yes to more than five of the above, you might be a conspiracy theorist.  You also may be on the government’s terror watch list.  Be very alarmed and report it to the authorities immediately should you discover your neighbors engaged in such uncivilized thought.

And here are a few more from infowars.com:

You believe peer-reviewed studies which conclude Monsanto GMO corn causes tumors in rats.

You are concerned about how the US Army is announcing they are setting up domestic re-education camps in their own documents.

You avoid fluoridated toothpaste, water and food products as a result of Harvard studies which confirm sodium fluoride lowers IQ.

You pay for coffee with cash, which according to the FBI is an indication of terrorism.

You buy storable food in bulk, which according to the FBI is an indication of terrorism.

You hold political opinions which “represent a fairly popular point of view,” which according to a DOJ-funded training manual for police is an indication of terrorism.

You display bumper stickers opposing the United Nations or expressing support for the Bill of Rights, which according to a DOJ-funded training manual for police is an indication of terrorism.

You find it ironic that ‘liberty loving’ American citizens are being denounced as terrorists by the government while the White House funds real Al-Qaeda terrorists in Syria.

You use cash to pay at toll booths, which according to a recent court ruling is a suspicious activity worthy of detention and having your vehicle and personal details recorded.

You exercise your First Amendment right to protest, which according to the Department of Defense represents “low level terrorism”.

Here's something you may not know. This is a list of five curious, yet oddly successful, ways of predicting the presidential election in November (from ABCNews):

1. Just before the election is Halloween and this holiday is 4 for 4 on predicting who the winner is. Based on sales, who ever gets the most masks sold will be the winner. Obama is currently outselling Romney 69% to 31%.

2. NFL's Washington Redskins have had a streak of choosing the winner for the last 18 of 19 elections. The only one they missed was Bush/Kerry in 2004. On the game before the election, if they win then the incumbent wins. If they lose then the challenger wins. This year, the Redskins play the Carolina Panthers.

3. Two University of Colorado professors have been predicting the last eight elections strictly based on statistics all wrapped up into one complicated formula and they have an 8 for 8 record. They predict Obama winning only 213 of the 270 electoral votes necessary for victory.

4. Online gambling is on a weak streak of 2 for 2. 70% currently have their money on Obama and 30% have their money on Romney.

5. Elementary School kids have been picking the winner for 16 out of the last 18 elections. These results will be available October 10.

Well played, SNL. This country is divided in half within a two or three percent margin of error and we can thank our president for that. Unfortunately, this election is going to come down to a small percentage of individuals within that margin of error that find it difficult to make any single decision on a daily basis that you or I make without a second thought at any given moment.

The fate of America's future, statistically, actually lies in the decisions of a handful of people on November 6 who can't decide whether two plus two equals three or five when, for the rest of us, it clearly equals four.

This is worth checking out. Every single word of this link affects every American, regardless of income, and it is easier to just click on the link above rather than copy and paste it on this blog. We are 100 days away from the biggest tax hikes in American history. Come January, 2013, thanks to Barack Obama, ObamaCare, and his policies at large, America will be paying all sorts of new taxes; and old ones at higher rates. One that caught my eye was the immediate reduction of the traditional $1,000.00 child tax credit cut in half to $500.00. I'm sure the individuals who don't even pay taxes, yet still receive that tax credit will be doubly disappointed. On second thought, it would not at all surprise me if an individual who earned less than a certain taxable income would continue to receive the $1,000.00. That is how our president thinks. Reward and encourage idleness; punish and discourage ambition.

Just going to continue cruising along with some random stories in the news today. Joe Biden once again succeeded in having one too many sips of obnoxious today. You can't make up the ridiculous succession of words this man forms sentences with. Speaking to a High School in New Hampshire comprised of student athletes, good ole Uncle Joe found the worst possible thing in his mysterious mind to say and then uttered the words, "Guess what, the cheerleaders in college are the best athletes in college. You think I’m joking, they’re almost all gymnasts, the stuff they do on hard wood, it blows my mind.” You can't make this stuff up. If you did it would be a bad joke.

Harry Reid was called out today on behalf of his own tax returns. After Mitt Romney voluntarily released another year of tax returns, which were quite admirable (giving 30% of his income to charity, over 3 million dollars, and paying even more in taxes than was required of him), Dave Buell, chairman of the Washoe Country Republican party in Mr. Reid's political backyard of Nevada, demanded Reid release his own tax returns. It was not that long ago that Harry Reid politicized an anonymous tip that Mitt Romney had not paid taxes in ten years. Reid would not reveal his source and he had no way to prove his accusation. The claim was absurd and untrue, proven by the fact that he no longer pursues the issue. If anyone has something to hide it is Harry Reid. As Mr. Buell sums up, "In addition, Mr. Reid should explain to all of us how he became a millionaire on a bureaucrat's salary. Mitt Romney earned his money by investing in companies, people and creating jobs in the private sector while Harry Reid made his money by taking money from the private sector and redistributing it through government."

And, one last thing, the man who naively thought he could calm relations between America and Islam just because he was black, white, Muslim and Christian, among many other things, by apologizing to the world on America's behalf, Barack Obama...he was wrong. Effigies and American flags are being burned in disgust across the world. Bush, everyone's favorite scapegoat, cannot even be blamed for this blunder in foreign affairs.

Just a thought. I wonder if a bank account of some sort were opened, and in that bank account anyone in America could deposit a sum of money---how much money could be raised to pay Barack Obama to leave the White House, move to anywhere on Earth he chose, and to simply fade away, much like the 2008 posters people once hung that are now collecting dust? This man has achieved the exact paradigm shift America needs to utterly avoid at all costs and he has exhibited the consequences of governing outside of American values.

Just follow me for a moment...We constantly here chatter of 300-something million dollars for this, 4.1 billion dollars for that, or even 1.1 trillion dollars for something else. But, it is challenging to comprehend just how large those numbers are. You cannot even begin to conceptualize a mental image of what 1 trillion dollars is. This sum of money requires a lot of football fields and skyscrapers just to give you an idea of how many hundred dollar bills are stacked and spread upon other hundred dollar bills to visually express the reality of one trillion dollars.

That being said, what if, and this is just a fun idea that I'm sure could never possibly happen, but, what if every American who wanted Barack Obama out of the White House was able to deposit one single dollar into a bank account to pay him to pack his bags and move to Hawaii or wherever it is he wants to go?

It is safe to say that nearly half, if not more, of this nation wants him out of the office. Polls will tell you that it is fity-fifty. I find that hard to believe but who am I to judge liberal or conservative leaning polls? So, let's play it conservatively and assume that...47% of Americans are willing to part with one single dollar to deposit into this bank account.

The population of America is somewhere around 314 million. Forty-seven percent of that is equivalent to $147,580,000.00, tax free. For one single dollar per person, we could offer Barack Obama a stress-free retirement to simply get out of America's way. That would be hard to turn down and, to be honest with you, I'd throw in a twenty and I'm sure many others would, too.

This whole idea is a hypothetical that would never possibly happen, but the point I am making is this: These presidential and congressional campaigns all serve the mighty dollar and while I am passionate about politics I have no problem admitting that I've never contributed a single campaign dollar. It's because the whole electoral process is such a manufactured, multi-million dollar industry. But, I'll tell you this: The one dollar you and I and so many others would pay to Barack Obama for the simple task of leaving the White House and not dragging this country down with his policies---that one dollar is something I would have no problem parting with and we would not have to go through the mind-numbing process of hearing words come out of his mouth each day.

Just an idea.

Barack Obama cannot find time to speak with Benjamin Netanyahu face to face, but he found time to speak with this ridiculous pirate today to honor "International Talk Like A Pirate Day". Charming.

The way our president spends his time and our tax dollars is offensive to the intelligence of the average American. If a president has a good four years then campaigning for reelection should not be a big deal. If a president has a mediocre first term then he needs to work hard to earn a second one. But, when a president has a terrible, awful, self-destructive, insulting, disapproving first four years, such as in the case of Barack Obama, he must avoid discussing his record of the past four years and hold as many fundraisers as possible with clueless celebrities and perform as many pointless public appearances as possible, such as inviting pirates to the White House, while a large portion of the inhabitable planet is set ablaze with American flags.

It's very simple to me. There is so much we know and don't know about Barack Hussein Obama. The conversation goes round and round, but the 2010 midterm elections speak for themselves. After only two years of his presidency, Barack Obama had America upset enough to fire as many Democrats as we could to replace them with staunch Republicans who would slow down the destructive path he was clearing. So, the question is, "What has gotten better?"

How is this election even a question? What has changed since 2010? Our president blames the 112th Congress for being the most do-nothing Congress in American history. Well, that was what they were put in office to do. Obama obviously could not find compromise within himself either, yet he blames Congress. Those Republicans were put there to stop his momentum, though, which so many Americans clearly disagreed with. I would say the 112th Congress has been highly successful in the task of damage control regarding the policies of Obama and his administration.

That was only two years ago, and we tend to have short-term memories, but what has changed?

It's ironic that a facet of the liberal media just handed over the best, most ambitious speech Mitt Romney has ever delivered. Day750 Monday 09/17/12

This video came out today, posted on the internet by Mother Jones, a liberal magazine. I think the intention was to expose how Mitt Romney really feels about the American voters he is seeking approval from, and I feel the message was a huge success. Mother Jones posted this video with the idea that Romney's words would be hurtful to his campaign but everything I heard was nothing more than the truth. Reality is a good place to be when dealing with extremely important issues like the abusive dependency on government the current administration has constantly been expanding. And, it is true, if 47% of this country does not even pay income taxes then why would they vote for a man who is campaigning on such American virtues as hard work, strength, ambition, and the belief in Capitalism? Why would they vote for someone who believes individuals are rewarded for the time and effort they put into their tasks? Why would these people vote for a man who embodies hard work and success when they are content to receive a menial paycheck from the government for the simple price of continuing to vote for Barack Obama and other politicians like him.

I think Mitt Romney simply spoke the truth in this deviously captured video. You can't argue with the numbers. 47% is 47%. For more perspective, there are currently 8,786,049 Americans collecting federal disability insurance---that means for every 16 of us working, 1 is collecting disability (that we are paying for). And, the number is growing at an alarmingly exponential rate.

So, thank you, Mother Jones. I would like to hear Mitt Romney speak as realistically as this more often.

One other thing---GM is pushing to absolve itself from the federal government. They are requesting the government sell off its stake in the company. We tax payers own nearly 27% of the company. The reason GM wants to be freed from the government is because they claim it is giving them a bad reputation and because they can't attract top talent due to pay restrictions.

President Obama said "No". The Treasury Department claims selling now would lead to a multi-billion dollar loss for the federal government and Barack Obama, of course, can't have that during the election.

Do you see how backwards this is? Throughout the DNC the speakers kept saying something to the effect of "Osama Bin Laden is dead and General Motors is alive". That was their big tag line they kept repeating. Well, turn on the news, Bin Laden may be dead in body but not in spirit. The hatred from across the globe being directed at America is at a rare high. The ideas Bin Laden represented are far from dead, but here is GM, who the current administration is bragging about for being a huge success story, wanting to get rid of all connections to the federal government because it is making them look bad.

How does this president even stand a chance for reelection, you ask? How is it even possible, you ask? It's for the very reason that Mitt Romney mentioned in the video above. It is because of staggering realities such as the fact that 47% of this entire country does not even pay federal income tax. As that number increases, and it's not far from the tipping point, what's going to happen is the government will take more and more money from the fewer and fewer amount of people who continue working until there is simply no point left in working any longer. It is disturbing that this is the apparent end our government is after...an unsustainable nanny state.

This is the sort of stuff you are not going to hear about on your television or within the pages of your local newspaper. This story, "Obama Covers Posterior, Suddenly Complies With War Powers Resolution", was written by Ben Shapiro at Breitbart.com

Do you remember Libya and Egypt, back when the Arab Spring was blossoming? The birds were chirping, tyrants were being thrown out of power, free elections were setting the way for democracy, and unicorns were trotting all across the Middle East leaving a trail of peace behind every step. Well, one thing I remember posting about on this blog at that time was the unconstitutional use of power our president exhibited by usurping Congress in his decision to work solely with the UN to resolve the unrest in those two countries. I remember Leon Panetta sitting in front of Congress and blatantly telling them that decisions regarding Libya from that point forward would move through United Nations and not the 112th Congress. I recall the jaw on the congressman Panetta was addressing being dropped to an unnatural depth of disbelief.

This is the sort of behavior that the founders of this nation did everything in their power to prevent when they laid out the guidelines for how it ought to be run. And they have done a remarkable job of laying the foundation for a long legacy of freedom and success. We are nearly 250 years into the independence of America and we still hold with conviction and passion the words those brave men wrote almost two and one-half centuries ago. But now, as will happen from time to time, someone like Barack Hussein Obama comes along and tests American values. They have been tested before and they will be tested again. It falls upon us to stand up to these ideals and to keep America on its righteous path.

Back to the article, our president decided this time around that it would be a good idea to comply with the War Powers Resolution in order to cover his own ass, or posterior. At this point, leading up to the election, if anything goes dreadfully wrong with whatever military action our government decides to take it will not be President Obama's sole decision but his decision with the consent of Congress. I believe this sort of behavior is what many often refer to as being a "weasel". Sly, cunning, tricky---one who elevates their circumstances by picking and choosing and then contradicting with no regard for principle or honesty.

Here is the nice letter President Obama drafted for Congress, which he saw fit to forgo during the Arab Spring:

September 14, 2012

Dear Mr. Speaker: (Dear Mr. President:)

On September 12, 2012, in response to an attack on our diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four U.S. citizens, including U.S. Ambassador John Christopher Stevens, a security force from the U.S. Africa Command deployed to Libya to support the security of U.S. personnel in Libya. Further, on September 13, an additional security force arrived in Yemen in response to security threats there.

Although these security forces are equipped for combat, these movements have been undertaken solely for the purpose of protecting American citizens and property. These security forces will remain in Libya and in Yemen until the security situation becomes such that they are no longer needed.

These actions have been directed consistent with my responsibility to protect U.S. citizens both at home and abroad, and in furtherance of U.S. national security and foreign policy interests, pursuant to my constitutional authority to conduct U.S. foreign relations and as Commander in Chief and Chief Executive.

I am providing this report as part of my efforts to keep the Congress fully informed, consistent with the War Powers Resolution (Public Law 93-148). I appreciate the support of the Congress in these actions.

Sincerely, BARACK OBAMA

Okie-dokie. Top to bottom. Jay Carney having to tell what appears to be the biggest and most farfetched lie to ever pass through his grinning lips. He claims the wide-spread unrest and hostility---this business of killing an American Ambassador, Navy SEALS, and burning American flags has nothing to do with America or the utter hatred of our nation these actions seem to suggest. He says it is, instead, because of an inflammatory movie trailer that ridicules the Muslim religion and their prophet, dare I say it, Muhammad. I don't believe it. Look at the image in the middle. Each of those markers represent a spot on Earth where American flags are being burned, embassies are being vandalized or taken over, and more American lives are in jeopardy. I don't know what's going on but for a president who received the Nobel Peace Prize and claims to have done everything he could to satisfy relations between Muslim nations and America, and apologized to everyone he could for America simply being American, I think he is doing a terrible job. And, lastly, amidst bomb threats at universities on American soil, and even a nuclear reactor site, today; amidst all the chaos surfacing from the markers on the map above; amidst the fact that the Fed just printed another installment (QE3) of nonexistent money to appease Wall Street, only to ultimately devalue the American dollar and put our nation even more at risk only so Barack Obama can give a short-term illusion of "forward" progress to get reelected; amidst cutting our national defense budget and cutting down our nuclear arsenal to nothing more than the same amount our greatest national threats have (that's leveling the playing field; that's giving everyone a fair shot)---amidst refusing to meet with Netanyahu because he is too busy campaigning; amidst all of this---our president is having a campaign event with Jay-Z and Beyonce.

Unbelievable. This man would not have to campaign so much if he would have simply been a half-decent president to begin with. If a president does a good job of leading and the important numbers reflect his work then campaigning is hardly even necessary. Our president, on the other hand, is fighting as hard as he can just to stay afloat. What does that say about him and his policies?

Day746 Thursday 09/13/12

ran 3.4 miles
I stumbled across this gem earlier today. Barbara Bellar, a Chicago woman running for a State Senate seat in Illinois, had this to say of ObamaCare during a "Women for Romney" event last August. She calls this "ObamaCare summed up in one sentence".

“So, let me get this straight (this is a long sentence), we’re going to be gifted with a healthcare plan we are forced to purchase, and fined if we don’t, which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it, passed by a congress that didn’t read it, but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes, for which we will be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that’s broke."

Well put, Mrs. Bellar. This is what "we the people" are up against. This legacy legislation Barack Obama put forward, which passed by the skin of its teeth in Congress and was then deemed constitutional by the highest court in America, based on the argument of one Justice's deciding vote that Americans must reap what they sow.

"America put this man in the White House. If you want ObamaCare to be deemed unconstitutional then you vote him out of office and have it repealed." That was the message I walked away with when the Supreme Court had made its decision.

And one last thing, on a completely unrelated note to ObamaCare, all of this American flag burning, embassy attacking, Ambassador murdering chaos that is happening in the Middle East right now...the Arab Winter, they are calling it...concrete proof of how little use the Arab Spring was...well, something I've never understood about our government is the idea they hold that democracy can be spread across the globe. This idea that it can be opened up like a wrapped package with a bow on top and colorful ribbons running down the side, which give the receivers of it goosebumps and excitement as they open up the gift is naive, unrealistic, and, for lack of a better term, stupid.

People have to fight for freedom. Freedom has to be earned and it can never be forgotten where that freedom was earned or how much was sacrificed to earn it. Freedom is not coordinating with United Nations to overthrow a country's leader and to set up a legitimate election. The baton of power simply gets passed on to another leader. The missing link is the fact that freedom in a nation is hinged on the collective strength and liberty of the people that comprise that nation. This was the intention of America, to empower the people and not the government. The less involved our government is with our daily lives, the better of a job they are doing for its people.

Essentially, our leaders and the international leaders at the UN seem to believe that by throwing one individual out of power and allowing a nation's people to freely elect a new one is the solution to that nation's problems. They seem to believe that everything will be just fine after that. They pat themselves on their backs having removed one tyrant never considering, or simply not caring, that it is quite possible something even worse will replace that individual.

Welcome to the Arab Winter. America and the UN helped overthrow Mubarak in Egypt and Gaddafi in Libya. Our Ambassador to Lybia has been murdered, along with three others, in Libya. And riots and protests against America are ensuing not only in Cairo but across the Middle East. American flags are burning after all of the "help" we gave them. Nice job with the Arab Spring stuff.

Maybe French president Francois Hollande ought to check this video out instead of taxing at a rate of 75%. Desperate times call for desperate measures and our president is leading us down the path of Europe. Taxing beyond the right side of the hump, as depicted in the video above, is futile. Unfortunately, it's all that's left to do once a government allows its budgets, or lack of budgets, to spiral out of control. We just hit $16 trillion in national debt during the Democratic National Convention---and that number is nowhere near representative of what is truly owed when everything is put on the table. Do you honestly think Barack Obama is going to slow any of the momentum he has applied to so hastily plunge America into these desperate times over the past four years if he is elected for another four. No. He is going to put his machine into overdrive until the engine burns out.

Here are 11 facts that will make you scratch your head in confusion. As of today, President Obama is leading Mitt Romney 49 to 45 percent according to Gallup. That, compounded by these facts, is enough to also drop your jaw if you feel the need.

1.  When you include the underutilized labor figure with the eight million Americans who have lost hope altogether and stopped looking for a job, real unemployment now stands at just under 19 percent.

2.  If the labor force were the same as when President Obama took office in January 2009, the unemployment rate reported on Friday would be 11.2 percent

3.  A record 88,921,000 Americans are no longer in the labor force. To be included in that figure, an individual must be over 16 years of age, a civilian, not in a mental hospital or nursing home, and have stopped hunting for a job for at least four weeks.

4.  The average American lost 40 percent of their wealth from 2007 to 2010.

5.  Every fifth man in America is out of work.

6.  One out of two Americans are now low-income or below the poverty line.

7.  Over the past four years, 400,000 food stamp recipients a month have been added to the welfare dole.

8.  In 2006-2007, 90 percent of college graduates landed jobs. Under Obama, just 56 percent find work after college.

9.  A gallon of gasoline cost $1.84 when Obama entered office. Today, a gallon of gas costs $3.77

10.  Every fourth home mortgage in America is underwater.

11.  Under Obama, healthcare costs have skyrocketed 18.9 percent

Wynton Hall, Breitbart.com

Another article from Breitbart.com by John Nolte:

Obamanomics: 173k new food stamp recipients, 96k new jobs

Yesterday's jobs report came out and while unemployment went from 8.3% to 8.1%, what they didn't tell you was that the number dropped primarily because of the amount of Americans who simply quit looking for work. After four weeks of not looking for work one ceases to be a statistic in the unemployment formula.

I recommend watching this video after hearing Barack Obama speak tonight at the DNC. Many people I spoke with today said they refuse to watch President Obama speak tonight because there is nothing he can say to defend his first term and hearing him speak is too infuriating. I agree, but I am intrigued to see what this guy has to say tonight.

This is a big speech for him. It's too bad the weather is so clear in Charlotte and that Democrats have no scapegoat for moving the president's speech from the 74,000 seat stadium to the 20,000 seat venue he will be speaking at instead. Those 54,000 people who traveled from all over the country to see him must be really disappointed.

The video above highlights our president's failed promises for transparency, which he failed to deliver. But, this change of venue is probably the most transparent message that this administration has ever sent.

These Democrats are a mess. Here we are in the middle of the Democratic National Convention and they are scrambling around last minute to change their platform to make mention of "God" and to formally recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. They, and by "they" I mean our current president and the team of space cadets he has running his campaign and advising him, have opted last minute to all of a sudden change their stance on these two extremely important topics.

Ridiculous.

If this president can't even decide until the middle of his Democratic National Convention whether to allow the utterance of "God" or to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel then why should anyone believe he has the capacity to mean anything he says or the ability to confidently make decisions?

Chaos ensued as the delegates found out these two issues were being put up to a vote for inclusion on the platform. This is what we are up against.

As I type these words I am anxiously waiting to hear what Bill Clinton has to say tonight. By the time many of you read this he will have spoken and more than likely tried his best to help Barack Obama's chance for reelection. However, there is always the chance that he might get up there and say how he really feels about Barack Obama. As you watch him speak, just remember he is being forced to sing praise for the man who defeated his wife for the presidency. I doubt anything negative will come from his speech, but what if? It's amusing to consider.

Oh, and Barack Obama's "rain or shine" venue for his acceptance speech in a stadium that seats 74,000 people, which he said would be filled...it's been moved to a 20,000 seat venue (the same place everyone else is speaking). And I have a feeling there are not 74,000 disappointed individuals who made the trip to hear him speak.

Great ad. It's like pulling a string from the back of a doll's head that has a collection of random and meaningless prerecorded promises.

And one other thing---here are 689 economic reasons "National Review Online" feels Barack Obama should not be reelected. I only need two or three but NRO apparently felt it was necessary to squeeze every last drop of his abysmal failures.

I think this is supposed to be a sand sculpture of Barack Obama in front of the Democratic National Convention. The sculpture was ominously rained on a few days ago, making the case stronger that perhaps this was a bad idea to begin with. What comes to mind when you look at it? Shovel-ready jobs? Head in the sand?
